The Taliban is making headlines almost every day now.. People are getting to know how serious the problem/situation is in Afghanistan... Well, if You Read this piece of Art by Khaled Hosseini, you'll get to know a lot more (The inside, in DETAIL) The tortures, those atrocious rules, the Sorrowful Life of Women in Afghanistan!! So well written, you would feel like being one of them, observing them closely.. I know it's just a book. But, when you read it, it's something more. It feels like you are there! It's like having a transparent glass placed in between them and you, and you can see them cry, hear them scream, but cannot do anything for them! That's how I felt!! It's A Heart-warming, Gripping Novel.. and is a Must Read... ❤️ This is not a review though.. I just thought to write about this Book since the present situation is very relatable... Recently Read, "The Blue Umbrella" a Novella by Ruskin Bond.. 🔥 💙 This is a story of Binya who acquires a very beautiful and attractive blue umbrella in exchange for her lucky pendant.. This umbrella was the most beautiful umbrella in her entire village, for which, almost everyone in the village dreamt of having it the moment they saw it!! Even her brother was really fond of that umbrella. But Binya won't give it to anyone, it was hers now.. 💙 But the nearby shop owner, Ram Bharosa made it clear to himself that being one of the richest man in the village, he should own that umbrella by any means...  💙 It's a delightful story telling how Greed, Jealousy and Hate can ruin your life! Teaching a lesson to it's readers that "Greed or Jealousy will only land you in trouble some day!"  💙 Loved reading it! A nice time spent with another book of Ruskin Bond..
