What is Poltergeist?

       The Word Poltergeist means "Noisy Ghost".
It is a type of haunting where a spirit or entity creates physical disturbance in the environment. It can be loud noises such as screams, laughter, or someone crying, objects moving or getting destroyed! Poltergeist activities are said to be one of the scariest hauntings. It may sound like Residual Haunting but it is not exactly that.. Perhaps, Residual Haunting is related to the reflections of the past, there's no physical damage to anything in the environment..

How Real is Poltergeist Activity?



          You have seen a lot of horror movies and have an idea of this type of haunting! Good. But the knowledge is incomplete! Or let's say, Wrong! Because what they show in the movies, is just for entertainment purpose which I won't say is bad! We all like to see horror films, we like to watch them & get scared!! Good for entertainment, but what you see is far away from actual reality... Infact, there are many Paranormal Investigators who provide wrong information to people, literally scaring them. They are a shame to this field!

What is the Truth behind Poltergeist activities?

            It is believed that Poltergeist activities are performed by Evil Spirits who want to take revenge of some kind from the people they target, or simply because they just want to harm others! Is that so?? Not at all! You read that right..



            First of all, Poltergeist activities are very rare kind of haunting. These cases are heard once in a blue moon.. And in most cases, the miseries happen around the female member of the family who is in her teen years! That one person in the house seem to be the most affected! She would behave differently, the most unwanted happenings will cause when she is around! Another strange thing is, most of the activities appear to stop when the person is not around.. Haha!   So, is she possessed?? I did write about possession in my earlier blog, please do check that out!
            Back to the Topic, is that girl possessed??   No! Then What is Going on??
            The reason behind Poltergeist activities is the person (the girl in her teen years) who seem to be the most affected. These activities are not caused by any Evil Spirits. They are cause ofd by that very person. The reason why they do such things all of a sudden could be because they might be highly stressed or maybe she had gone through some extreme emotional situation.. In these cases, the family should take care of the person instead of isolating her or calling a priest! Provide her the medical care she needs. This is a psychological problem. Do not be scared if someone say that the house is Haunted or she is possessed! It's not true...
