Kacher Manush (2022) Movie Review by TLB | The Lyadhkhor Bong

✨ My Rating:- 8/10 ✨
Onek din por ekta bhalo cinema dekhlam!! This film deserves more success in the box office... The new type of content which Dev is currently focusing on creating is really good (even if some are not working so well with the masses)...
The storyline here is pretty good. Kuntal and Sudarshan meet when they are at their lowest. On hearing Kuntol's story, Sudarshan gets a dangerous and illegal idea that can solve both their problems that results in a hide and seek game with life...

The humour used throughout the movie while showcasing the dark, helpless situation of the characters worked genuinely well. Also, the humour helps to prevent the film from becoming an overall dark & depressing, which wouldn't be something nice. Throughout the movie, I never had the feeling that it's slow paced or boring, rather the plot had the strength to keep the audience engaged. The suspense and twists created at different points will keep you excited & is jaw-dropping.

The performance of the lead roles were impressive as well. Be it the mental breakdown of Bumba da's character "Sudarshan" or the cute, fun-loving character of Ishaa "Alo" or the depressed & helpless character of "Kuntal" played by Dev, all of them worked decent enough to create a connection and the impact follows.. The chemistry of Kuntal and Alo (Dev & Ishaa) shown in the film was so admiring and soothing, it worked pretty well with the twist and turns in the plot. Their sudden and sweet bonding is shown to create a ray of hope amongst the characters as well as the audience which actually feels good! The tension built among the audience at different points, somewhere is soothed by the chemistry of Alo & Kuntal. I liked it a lot! It clearly shows that 'no matter how many obstacles come on our way at the time of misery, we should not lose hope nor choose a wrong path'.

Well, the ending could have been a bit slow paced but I did like it. There are certain twists in the film which I don't know how well would those be received by the audience. The seemingly fast turn of events at the end were not that bad, the treatment done to them was just above average, or let's say not sooo appealing, but still, for some it might work well & for some, it might not.
The ending was interesting for me as I said, it could have been better. But then, the duration of the film would be too long. So, in my opinion, the fast turn of events was Okayish. A film cannot be absolutely perfect, so here it is. A #Genuinely Good Film to watch this weekend with your near and dear ones!

Lastly, the songs in the film are truly mesmerizing.. "Mukti Dao" by Sonu Nigam & "Taka Lage" are my favorites!
When I first saw the trailer, I had some expectations from the film.. Some GOOD expectations. Well, now after having watched the film in theatre, I am bound to say that it exceeded my expectations quite well. It's a #MustWatch movie. Will Highly Recommend it to all my friends and dear ones... Paisa wasool ✌🏼
Hats off to the creators!! 🔥
Thanks for reading...

Devi | Poem by Rohan Biswas | Phoenix

Devi They hold the Devi made of clay, With trembling hands and careful eyes. They fold their palms before her, Some beg forgiveness, Some beg for more. Drowned in greed, They offer her flowers and flesh, With devotion flowing from their core. They light up the streets— But never their minds. Alas, the Devi in human form, Is pushed aside. Then they call her— Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati. Yet raise their hands on her. Silence her when her voice grows loud. Curse her when she questions tradition. But then again, They worship Kali— The destroyer of evil, While being the very evil She must survive. They hunt her, In broad daylight and night, And call it culture. The living Devi remains silent. Not because she is weak— But because she is wounded. The Gods she trusted would save her, Became the reason She could not rebel. But the time has now come. Because clay dissolves in water, But not the Devi in flesh and blood. Like Durga—...

Have you ever paused to contemplate the dimensions of the world around us? From the vast expanse of the cosmos to the intricacies of our daily surroundings, understanding the dimensions of space is really important. In this blog, I have discussed about the three dimensions we live in, the concept of 4th dimension and gravity. Hope you find it interesting!    What is Three Dimensional Space? In a three-dimensional space, there are three spatial dimensions: length, width, and height.  Objects in a 3D space have length, width, and depth, allowing them to occupy space in three different directions, which is observable by us. Our everyday experience is in three dimensions, where we perceive objects as having height, width, and depth.  A simple example of three-dimensional space would be a box. It has length, width, and height, allowing it to occupy space in three different directions. You can also imagine standing in the middle of a room wher...

Author's Note (Updated 2024): When I wrote this blog three years ago, my perspective on the paranormal was based on what I believed and understood at that time. Since then, I have delved deeper into studying cosmology, astrophysics, religion, and evolution. My views have significantly shifted toward a more rational and scientific understanding of these phenomena. While I no longer subscribe to many of the ideas I expressed here, I acknowledge that this blog still reflects the prevalent views of many paranormal investigators and enthusiasts. It remains an interesting exploration of the subject for those who are curious about it. Happy Reading! Since childhood, almost every human being has heard of Ghosts, Evil Spirits, Black Magic, Witchcraft, etc... We have heard scary bedtime stories, watched infinite number of scary tv shows and movies and read horror books. All these things never fail to entertain us. Well, have you ever visited any location which is claimed to be ha...
